From Asia to the World: Ancient to Contemporary Art celebrates more than 100 years of collecting and exhibiting Asian art at the Toledo (Ohio) Museum of Art, featuring superb examples from antiquity to the present. The exhibition includes sculptures and blue-and white-porcelain, celadon and enamel ceramics from China, Korea and Japan that highlight trade among Asia, Latin America and Europe during the 17th and 18th centuries. Works by contemporary artists engage these histories.
