Artist Manal AlDowayan works in black-and-white photography, sculpture, video, audio, neon and participatory installations that have attracted hundreds of women to use art to address social issues. Her works are in museum and private collections worldwide, and this year she was selected for a Robert Rauschenberg Residency in Captiva, Florida. She holds a master’s degree in systems analysis and design, and she lives and works between Dubai and her native Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
