Not only is the exhibition coinciding with the commemoration of 75 years of Indian independence, it is a transcontinental endeavor that brings together longstanding partners—the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS), The J. Paul Getty Museum, the British Museum and, for the first time, the Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, along with museums from India, to showcase magnificent works of art from the ancient world.
