Golden Ink: A Journey Through Arabic and Islamic Manuscripts explores handwritten knowledge, which shaped past civilizations and inspires the modern age. A collaboration between the United Arab Emirates’ Department of Culture and Tourism and McGill University in Canada, the exhibition highlights over a millennium of Islamic scholarship through rare manuscripts on science, literature, religion, art and philosophy from the Abu Dhabi Libraries collection, McGill, Zayed National Museum, Louvre Abu Dhabi and private collections. Qasr Al Watan, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, through April 7.
