In the second part of this pattern, artist Adam Williamson gives you step-by-step directions on how to create the biomorphic design of this 12-fold rosette, creating plant and flower motifs. The design was originally made for tiles adorning the mosque in Istanbul and commissioned in the 16th century by Ottoman Grand Vizier Rüstem Pasha.
