Kings and Queens of Africa is the first show devoted to sub-Saharan Africa to be held in the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf region, and presenting a selection of remarkable pieces that illustrate the material culture of the African continent. Each piece on display reveals a story of authority and cultural significance, providing insight into the African kings and queens who shaped the continent and how their legacy continues to inspire and influence contemporary African art and culture.
