Valley of the Winds captures Batken, Kyrgyzstan, through the eyes of children, ages 8–14, whose parents work far from home. Photographer Danil Usmanov facilitated this photography exhibition by giving disposable cameras to the youths, and they photographed what mattered: friends, games, mountains, ordinary magic. The presentation is supported by the French Embassy in Kyrgyzstan and the Goethe-Institut Kyrgyzstan.
