Al-Falaq is site-specific multimedia sculpture by Yemeni Bosnian, US-based artist Alia Ali conceived as a starship that is reclaiming Yemeni artifacts housed in famous collections in Europe and the US. Suspended under a dome, 81 digital screens display a range of experimental videos that embrace objects, ideas and heritage with an eye toward Yemeni futurism.
