I.M. Pei: Life Is Architecture explores the life and work of the late Chinese American architect, who believed architecture could honor both regional histories and global movements. Through original drawings, sketches, models and architectural material, the exhibition celebrates how the designer of buildings around the world—including the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, Qatar—used collaboration and transcultural dialogue.
