Angels & Mara

Angels & Mara examines the tensions between good and evil, compassion and conflict through contemporary art inspired by religious, philosophical and cultural traditions. Featuring works by Thai and international artists—including “Here Is Brick,” a video installation by Mahtab Hussain and Guy Gunaratne that explores 30 years of British South Asian and Muslim experience—the Bangkok Art Biennale reflects on the social, political and spiritual challenges shaping the modern world.
