Collections at the Harvard Museum of the Ancient Near East (formerly the Harvard Semitic Museum) are used for teaching, research, exhibition and publication of the archeology, history, languages and culture of the ancient Near East. On view for a 3-D experience are nearly 300 objects, from coffins to figurines, statues and painted stelas. This 3-D viewing is part of Harvard Museum of the Ancient Near East's enhanced user experience, which is accompanied by a virtual tour of the three-story museum itself.
