Genghis Khan and the World of Mongols

Staatliche Museen,Berlin,Germany

Genghis Khan and the World of the Mongols explores the rise and global impact of the Mongol Empire through rare archaeological treasures and new research, offering fresh insight into the “Mongol Century” (c. 1250–1350), a period that reshaped connections across Eurasia. Featuring objects from Mongolia—many shown outside the country for the first time—alongside international loans, the exhibition highlights nomadic life, imperial networks and cultural exchange, while revising long-held views of the Mongols through recent Mongolian-German scholarship. Staatliche Museen zu Berlin, October 21 to April 18, 2027.
