Musical Bodies explores the connection between musical instruments and the human body, bringing together about 130 works—from instruments and paintings to sculptures and design—to reveal how people express identity, values and belief through music. Spanning 4,000 years, the exhibition ranges from ancient Egyptian rattles to contemporary fashion—offering an engaging experience for musicians, music lovers and curious visitors alike. The Met, New York City, June 7 to September 27.
