The Venice International Film Festival continues its legacy as the world’s oldest film festival and one of the “Big Three,” alongside Cannes Film Festival and Berlin International Film Festival. Marking its 83rd edition in 2026, it remains a leading platform for global cinema, showcasing world premieres across both major studio productions and auteur filmmaking.
