Of Worlds Within Worlds: Gulammohammed Sheikh, A Retrospective celebrates the life of eminent artist, poet and pedagogue Gulammohammed Sheikh by showcasing more than 190 artworks spanning six decades of his career. The exhibit displays gouaches, oil paintings, pen-and-ink drawings, graphic prints, digital collages, accordion books, poems, photographs, ceramic sculptural objects and installations that shed light on his multidimensional practice. The show further incorporates archival material, including Sheikh’s handwritten poetry, letters, sketchbooks and notebooks that offer a glimpse into his creative process.
